History
In 1983 Rick and Sue Howe moved to Boulder, Colorado to establish
Dayspring Center for Christian Studies. For more than two
decades, students at the University of Colorado have been able to
take courses in Christian studies for college credit, through
Dayspring’s partnership with Denver Seminary. In 2004 Dayspring
received a substantial grant from the CIOS Foundation to launch new
centers in Fort Collins and Colorado Springs, Colorado, and entered
into a partnership with Northwestern College to establish Christian
studies for college credit at these new locations. In 2005 Dayspring
officially changed its name to Centers for Christian Study,
International, with three affiliate centers in Colorado, representing
the first phase of its expansion plans.
